The 46th edition
Hala Bira: The Rhythm of Change
Three days across Iloilo City, hosted by JCI Regatta — from Festive Walk Mall and Megaworld to the National Museum, Molo Mansion and the Grand Xing Imperial Hotel. Competitions and toolkit trainings, a community project in Arevalo, Governor's Night and the Quadro Awards, and the election of the officers who carry Area 4 into the next term.
The highest distinction
Best of the Best
The Best of the Best is its own award — the night's highest honour. One Local Organization, one Local President, one Local Project: 3 titles for the whole Area, and no runners-up.
The results
Quadro and Banaag Awards
Every category was contested down to a Top 5. These are the bids that took it — the Quadro de Honor and the Banaag Awards of the 46th Visayas Area Conference.
The trophy
What is the Quadro?
The Quadro de Honor is the highest thing a chapter can be handed in this Area. One per category, per term — the single bid judged to have done it best.
The trophy you see here was launched in 2021. The brief was to modernise the Quadro without losing what earlier designs had built, and to make sure all three Visayas regions could see themselves in it — Central, Eastern and Western. Every board since has kept it and sharpened the icons.
- The diamond frames a clear centre, so whatever is behind the winner shows through the award.
- The engraving runs the Visayas around that frame: peaks and cloud, the islands in outline, a cable-stayed bridge, a belfry, terraces and open water.
- The plinth carries the plate — the category, the chapter, the term.
Design history from Eric Smith, who launched the 2021 redesign with AAC Michael Angelo Bolivar Zayco and RVPs Mae Angelyn Te-Lustre, Jinuard Asis and Osmond Herrera Rubinos.

Quadro and Banaag winners are shown for each category, with the rest of that category's Top 5 beneath. A handful of categories carry only one of the two awards.
